The Perspective is based in Sevenoaks making the recent news somewhat devastating. Due to Coronavirus many businesses and charities are struggling to survive, including the beloved Stag theatre. As the local cinema and stage, I myself and many other hold memories there. So, I have taken the task of informing my readers on how they can save such an important part of the town.
The Stag theatre was originally opened as a majestic cinema on the 22 of August 1936, making it a historic building. The fact that 80 years later the shell of the building is almost identical is incredible.
Without the Stag many events will no longer have a place to be hosted, we will no longer have a local cinema and we won’t have a professional stage for performances. I have many cherished memories of the Stag that will stay with me forever and without it I will have no chance to make more. So, if you are able please donate to help save it. Every penny counts.
